My name is Rev. Hans Wunch. I am a pastor in South Carolina. I have been working with wood as a hobby for several years. After turning dozens of bowls, I decided to try my hand at pens. It is truly a wonderful art form; so tactile and useful.
I use only the highest quality woods, other materials and parts. I spend almost as much time finishing the pen as I do turning it. That is why those who pick up my pens often say, "How do you get it so smooth?" Really the pictures you see of the pens do not do them justice. They are much prettier in person.
You can rest assured that when you buy a pen from me that it will be a gift or a treasure for a lifetime.

I have had several people want to see what I look like. I personally think this will decrease sales, but who knows? Here I am teaching some other pen turners how to finish a pen the way I do. I was teaching at Woodzone in Columbia, SC where I think I will be doing some teaching of classes in the near future.
