The Designer Pen has some unique features. It has a round cap, and I make mine with a bulge down by the nib (that is pen-speak for the place where the ink comes out). I think this makes this pen more comfortable. It takes a Cross-style refill which can be found at any office supply store. There are several different hardware colors available including Gold, Silver and Black Chrome. I can get other colors as well upon request. This style is also available in a pencil.
This is a picture of several Designer pens. From Left to Right they are Spalted Bradford Pear, Spalted Bradford Pear, White Oak Burl, Figured Japanese Chestnut, Ancient Kauri, and Figured White Oak. If you would like a pen like one of these, please email for a price quote.
Designer in Purple Heart with gold hardware. This is the actual color of the wood. It reacts to UV light to give it the beautiful purple color. This pen is sold, but I can make another to look nearly just like it for $25.
This pen is Spalted Poplar with Chrome Hardware. Spalting means the wood has begun the process of decaying and has these beautiful black lines in it. Don't worry, it is dry and stable, it will not fall apart on you. It will look like this for years to come. This pen is sold, but I have more of this wood and can make you one for $25.
This beautiful pen is make out of Olive Wood from Bethlehem Israel and has a certificate that comes with it. This one features Chrome hardware. These pens are stunning and this one looks so much better in person. Just think about writing with a peice of wood that grew near where Jesus was born. This pen is sold but I can make another out of this wood for $30.
This gorgous pen is made out of figured Eastern Cedar. Eastern Cedar has many different colors in it. This is the reason for color change from red to pink to yellow. This pen is featured in black chrome hardware and is sold. I have more of this wood and can make you one for $25.
